AHFC conducts many energy efficiency programs for home owners, business owners, and public building opowners and operators.  AHFC administers weatherization programs that have been created to award grants to non-profit organizations for the purpose of improving the energy efficiency of low-income homes statewide. These programs also provide for training and technical assistance in the area of housing energy efficiency. Funds for these programs come from the U.S. Department of Energy as well as AHFC.

 

AHFC Energy Rebates, Loans & Weatherization Programs

Home Energy Rebate

Home owners pay upfront for energy ratings and energy efficiency improvements to qualify for a rebate.

New Home Rebate

A rebate for the purchaser of a newly constructed 5 Star Plus home.

Appliance Rebate

Alaskans with proven disabilities receive a rebate for purchasing certain Energy Star appliances.

Energy Loans

Use for purchasing and improving homes or buildings.

Weatherization

If you meet income guidelines, you may qualify to have your home weatherized at no cost.
